As of today, August 7, 2012 there is no tropical cyclone existing within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). The Southwest monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas. Luzon and Western Visayas will experience monsoon rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides especially over the Western sections.
The rest of Visayas will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms while Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail throughout the archipelago and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
