Megan Lynne Young Crown as Miss World 2013 Philippines

Megan Lynne Young, 23, crown as Miss World 2013 and she will represent the Philippines in this year's Miss World competition to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia next month.

Other Candidate Janicel Lubina finished second while Zahra Saldua, Maria Paula Bianca Paz, and Omarie Osuna finished third, fourth, and fifth, respectively.

The Filipina-American newly crowned beauty queen will be competing against contestants from other countries for the Miss World title, which no Filipina has ever won, on September 28.

Megan Young also won seven special and sponsored awards, which had the following winners:
