“The X Factor Philippines” is a Filipino is world-renowned television music competition, adapted from the original UK shows as part of The X Factor franchise, to search new singing talents in the Philippines.
“The X Factor Philippines” brings together four of the country’s biggest
names in the recording industry. International singing sensation Charice
Pempengco and Concenrt King Martin Nievera were announced as being the first
two of the four judges. Last April 2012, the show announced Mr. Pure Energy
Gary Valenciano as the 3rd judge. The 4th judge is Asia’s
Queen of Songs Pilita Corrales was announced last May 4, 2012.
“The X Factor Philippines” is searching for undiscovered talent from 16
years old and above that will be divided into four categories: Boys, Girls, Adult
and Groups. The winner will win a 4 million Philippine peso recording contract.
